On behalf of the States of Guernsey, GOAC is responsible for distributing funds voted by the States for aid and development overseas by making contributions to ongoing programmes and to emergency and disaster relief; developing programmes relating to the collection and distribution of funds involving the private sector and carrying out the duties and powers above in accordance with policies set out by the Policy Council. Each year the Commission invites any charity registered in the British Isles to apply for funding of up to £40,000 for a specific and sustainable project in one of the world's least developed countries.

Irish aid engages in and supports development and provides humanitarian assistance, and they have long-term partnerships with nine key partner countries in Africa and Asia where we support the efforts of governments and communities to own and lead their own development.

Australian NGO Cooperation Program

ANCP is a unique Australian aid program. It is a partnership between the Australian Government and accredited Australian NGOs. For over four decades, this partnership has contributed to sustainable economic growth and poverty reduction in some of the world's poorest countries. The ANCP is the Australian Government's longest running and largest NGO program. The ANCP supports community-based projects which have a direct and tangible impact on reducing poverty in developing countries. It delivers effective and efficient development results.

Horseware the world’s most trusted producer of horse rugs. It started with a small team in Dundalk, Ireland in 1985, with the prototype of the now iconic Rambo Original, setting the standard for modern horse rug design. Horseware now employs 172 people employed in Dundalk, the location of its sales, R&D, marketing and financial headquarters, our factory and our European warehousing. A further 47 staff are employed in North Carolina, and 514 people in factories in China and Cambodia.

Irish National Teachers' Organisation (INTO), founded in 1868, is the oldest and largest teachers' trade union in Ireland. It represents 35,585 teachers at primary level in the Republic of Ireland and 7, 019 teachers at primary and post-primary level in Northern Ireland. (December 2016). INTO supported SeeBeyondBorders through its 'Solitary Fund' which seeks to reduce inequalities and support teachers working in developing countries. The INTO believes in reducing inequalities and improving access to quality education.

British and Foreign School Society

The British & Foreign School Society (BFSS) is a grant giving organisation and offers funding for education projects in the UK and around the world. The BFSS was founded in 1808 by Christian social reformers to carry on the work of Joseph Lancaster, a pioneer of school and teacher education. It was established formally as a charity by Royal Charter in 1906 (charity number 314286). Today the Society gives grants for education projects of around £1m each year in the UK and around the world, while celebrating its heritage.

Set up by Brian and Betty Souter, Souter Charitable Trust assists projects engaged in the relief of human suffering in the UK and overseas – particularly, but not exclusively, those promoting spiritual welfare. Established in 1992, the trust has has awarded over 3,200 grants worth more than £32 million in the past five years.

UN Women's Guild

UN Women's Guild, Vienna

UN Women's Guild Vienna was founded in 1967 with twin branches of friendship and charity. The UNWG has more than 500 members from over 100 different countries. Membership of the UNWG is open to any woman who is a staff member or a spouse of a staff member of the United Nations Organizations or Permanent Missions to these organizations in Vienna. Each year the UNWG financially supports many children’s charities in Austria and the developing world.  This project-based programme is organised for the sole purpose of benefiting children in need.
